An initiative to connect youth from around the world through collaborative jersey design.
What happens when you bring youth from different cities together to collaborate on a single jersey? It turns out their shared experiences and messages for the world are often surprisingly alike.
The Youth Creative Collective gives young people an incredible chance to connect with others across the globe and proudly represent their cities. It offers them a platform to visually express who they are, where they’re from, and to share their unique stories with the world.

Phase 1
Global Design Workshop
Bringing together partner-nominated design leaders for a virtual design workshop. Youth from different cities had the chance to meet each other, collaborate on some design challenges, and reflect on what they want the jersey to be about.
Phase 2
City Workshop Series
In person design workshops where youth created design that represent what they love about their city, who they are, and what means most to them.
Phase 3
Final Design Session
Design leaders from each city compiled all designs from throughout the project, and worked together to bring it all together on a single kit.
