Design FC 2020/21 Cohort
Due to the pandemic, Design FC programming was entirely virtual during the 2020/21 school year. Despite the added challenges, our designers thrived - creating some amazing work and culminating in some of the most creative jerseys we’ve seen yet!
The group also worked on a special project with EA Sports to create stadium banners in our DFC x FIFA Ultimate Team project.

Meet the Designers
Akasha
“When I designed some stuff that are encouraging or inspirational or something that makes you think about life, it makes me more happy or makes me feel more encouraged about doing things.”
“It’s a very fancy and elegant chicken with a jet-pack like they're like flying because a cow would jump over the moon. It's like the world has evolved to have an elegant chicken jet packing over the moon.”
“When you step on the ball and then it pops back up with an idea. It represents when you come in contact with something that was like a problem or like a problem. And then like an idea is going to pop up to help people find a solution.”
Amani
“I decided to put the family I love because they're really supportive and they helped me a lot when I'm having trouble or problems. And then. Since I like music, I put music notes around it to kind of match what I feel and stuff.”
“In the beginning I didn’t think it would turn out this well, but in the middle I was proud of what I was doing. So I kept working hard and this is what it turned out”
“I like helping the community out a lot and I want people, it doesn't matter who, whoever I like people, I would like them to stay safe and I would hope they don't get COVID or anything like that. They don't get any sickness.”
Iris
“I chose peace because there is a lot of hate in the world, especially now. And I just wanted to remind people to bring love”
“I think it says that I'm a very peaceful person and I am calm”
“It was really fun to me to create and design your own jersey”
Kev Z
“I personally really like fantasy, so I think it was very, very fantasy and like very unrealistic kind of. well, it does have elements and stuff like that, but yeah, and that's why I added there because I think it's awesome, it's really cool.”
“Today may be a bad day but that doesn't mean tomorrow is, push forward”
