BASEL BALL x DFC PROGRAMMING
As part of registration for the youth event, teams were offered a Design FC workshop to create their own jerseys to play in. In DFC coaches worked with the Soccer Sparks for two hours to create their unique team jersey.
During Basel Ball, Design FC held a shoelace customization station, allowing youth of all ages to come by and customize their own laces before jumping on the pitch.
In December 2022 Design FC was invited to parter with ABFC as part of their annual Basel Ball event in Miami. The team spoke on a panel centered around soccer, art, and innovation, sold merch, displayed student work at an art gallery, and even played a little footy.
Basel Ball is a 6v6 soccer tournament hosted at Urban Indoor Futbol in Miami. All proceeds from the event go towards soccer programming benefitting kids in under-served communities throughout South Florida.
