DFC x Football for the World

A collaboration between Design FC and Football for the World, a non-profit based in Omaha, Nebraska, whose mission is to provide quality opportunities to youth regardless of socioeconomic status, gender, race, ability, or geographic location. They do so through the donation of soccer equipment to over 30 different countries, year-round youth soccer programming in Omaha, the creation of safe spaces to play, and free clinics in a number of partner countries.

DFC spent two days working with students virtually to design soccer jerseys for Northstar Academy and Girls Inc. (Two FFTW sites). Each group went through a short self-reflection exercise before working together to visually express what means most to them about their city, school/program, and team.
