On July 2nd, 2021 Design FC held a design workshop at LAFC’s Banc of California Stadium, in which 26 students (3rd - 12th grade) from various schools in Watts (CA) designed over 200 linear feet of art that will be permanently displayed on the windscreens of the new mini pitch built for MLS All Star 2021.

Throughout the workshop, students worked with Design FC coaches to visually express what means most to them, what they want the world to know about Watts, what the future of their city looks like, the social issues they want to be addressed, and more.

The project was done in collaboration with Think Watts, LAFC, and MLS WORKS.
