Design FC x Sporting KC
TRANSFORMING A JERSEY INTO A CANVAS
the jersey project gives youth teams an opportunity to design their own unique jerseys, visually representing each player and their collective identity.
A collaboration between Design FC, Sporting KC, and two of their community partners: KCK United + Ryogoku Academy.
The two youth teams spent the day at Children’s Mercy Park for a design workshop featuring members of the Sporting first team as guest design coaches.
The players worked with Design FC to reflect on and visually express what means most to them about their team, and what messages they want to share with the world.
